OFFICERS have taken possession of yet another vehicle in the Bradford area with the proprietor facing court proceedings for multiple violations.

The seizure was carried out by Operation Steerside. The vehicle in question, a Vauxhall Insignia, was located on Gain Lane in Thornbury. Seven distinct infractions formed the basis for this action.

The vehicle’s excise licence, commonly known as road tax, had lapsed in November 2025.

The MOT certificate for the automobile had also expired – in January of this year.

The Vauxhall Insignia was operating without valid insurance cover.

The offside front tyre demonstrated inadequate tread depth.

The individual operating the vehicle was not utilizing a seatbelt.

A young passenger had been secured in a child seat improperly.

Additionally, the driver had already been prohibited from holding or obtaining a driving licence.

Authorities have stated the vehicle was impounded and the driver has been summoned to appear in court regarding the recorded violations.
