The Leeds Rhinos club mascot will join forces with a social media personality to officially open a fresh charitable retail outlet.
Ronnie the Rhino and Russell Bear have been lined up to attend the launch of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice’s first store in the Leeds region, situated in Pudsey at 1 Market Place on Saturday, April 25.
Online content creator Jen Graham, who runs the account @charityshopgirl, will also be involved in the festivities, sharing tips on secondhand shopping and clothing coordination.
Ms Graham said she felt honoured and excited to participate in Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice’s unveiling of their new charitable shop in Pudsey.
The venue will stock pre-owned clothing, books, toys and homewares, with the first twenty customers receiving complimentary gift bags.
This latest shop will raise funds for the hospice charity, which supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.
Andrea Titherington-Kay, retail director at Forget Me Not, remarked that more and more people are turning to charity outlets like this one as fantastic places to find unique and exceptional items at reasonable prices.
She added that they were looking forward to generating excitement at their launch with Ronnie the Rhino while raising awareness of their cause and opportunities for volunteers at the new premises.
