A development plot is set to go under the hammer before this month concludes.
The freehold site covers 1.4 acres and is situated on St Giles Road in Hipperholme, near Halifax. The site lies roughly half a mile from Hipperholme’s town centre.
Planning consent has been secured for the erection of 10 individual homes, with a guide price of £900,000 at the auction.
The parcel is included among the lots in BTG Eddisons Property Auctions’ timed online sale, with bidding commencing on April 28.
Will Thompson, director at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said the site presents an excellent development prospect in one of Calderdale’s most desirable residential locations. He noted the achievement of the nearby Skylarks housing development, which has achieved substantial completion and is now fully occupied.
Thompson highlighted that Hipperholme provides residents with good amenities, including various shops and dining options, as well as a reputable independent grammar school. He pointed to easy transport links to Halifax and Leeds, combined with proximity to some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful countryside, making the area appealing for developers looking to meet demand for quality family housing.
BTG Eddisons Property Auctions functions as a national auction platform established through the consolidation of regional companies including Pugh, SDL Property Auctions, Mark Jenkinson and Network Auctions.
The sale is scheduled to take place in April.
