A dealer of illegal substances in Leeds has been directed to return almost £130,000 or serve additional imprisonment.

Andre Craig, aged 31 and residing at Ashton View in Harehills, received a 45-month prison term last November after admitting guilt to possessing Class A and Class B drugs with the intention of distributing them.

He was taken into custody in Bramley on 16 August following a vehicle stop on Lower Town Street, where authorities seized cocaine, cannabis, and MDMA.

On 18 March, Craig was granted a three-month window to settle £129,030 or endure an additional 15 months of incarceration.

Detective Inspector Alastair Nicholls stated that Craig was evidently profiting substantially from narcotics peddling, which authorities recognise fuels violent criminal activity and adversely affects neighbourhoods.
